The Market is pretty near Spencer Museum of Art. A number of visitors note that the staff is attentive here. Disappointing service is what some guests underline characterizing this restaurant. According to the guests' opinions, atmosphere is disgusting here.

A confusing, hilariously overpriced mess of a cafeteria with little to no seating at peak hours. Honestly the cost cutting is just devastating. The food ranges from passable to a straight atrocity, AND you can’t get a legitimate meal without paying less than $15. Oh and don’t try to use cash for that overpriced meal; you can’t and there’s very little signage to tell you that (meaning if you’re a student that works at a restaurant or something for tips, that’s useless here). Wild, especially considering that a few years ago, I would pass up McLains for this place every so often. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Grabbed a drink from the fridge and was yelled at by a staff member. Apparently the process of checking out at the Market has been changed YET AGAIN, and college students cannot be trusted to access a fridge. He continued to yell at me, even after I’d explained to him that the signage was at the entrance was confusing and I hadn’t known that this process had changed. He then told me that if I just wanted a drink, that I should have instead gone to the Hawk Shop upstairs. What the hell? He proceeded to be condescending and have an attitude with me as I paid for the item it’s not that serious, dude, I just wanted a drink. I guess I’ll go out of my way to go to the Hawk Shop since their employees don’t have a sour attitude and let me grab a water from the fridge like an adult. Jeez.
