We came today for breakfast and there was only one couple eating, looked like they’d been there a while. We assumed we lucked out and we would get served right away. Unfortunately we had to wait forever to get our food. I ordered two eggs over medium, the biscuits and gravy and an Americano. My daughter ordered an avocado toast and my son ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon. We got our food so late it was already cold. The gravy never came out because they had to supposedly make another batch. I asked them to just forget about it since we had to leave soon. My eggs were so cold and hard/ burned on the bottom with egg shell still in it. Biscuits were dry and looked like they had maybe made them with wheat flour? My americano was beyond sweet I couldn’t stomach it. My kids enjoyed their drinks. The avo toast had capers and onions and some garnish that all seemed way too much for a simple avo toast. My son’s sandwich wasn’t too bad but his bacon was so greasy and not fully cooked. The cashier was a nice blond who was very friendly and helpful. She did her job and accommodated my super sweet coffee with some extra hot drip coffee. Unfortunately the coffee is so bitter and not flavorful. I tipped her and our bill was around $65. For drinks and three breakfast items is a bit much. Won’t be coming back but the atmosphere was really nice. Maybe other items are better than others but this was my experience unfortunately. The place was plenty staffed and even seemed like a few managers were inspecting things. The kitchen dropped the ball on those basic menu items. Girls need to do a better job as barista staff. For a high end place the bar is set and they’re not meeting expectations. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

They really do the toast right—I love that you can customize it with a poached egg or smoked salmon. Both versions are incredible. Their lattes are smooth and always hit the spot. The aesthetic is simple and charming, making it a really nice, low-pressure place to hang out for an hour or two. Totally recommend! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve been here and the coffee is great! But make sure you call ahead! Came at 3:40 and they said they start closing the espresso bar at 3:30 but they are open until 4??? Hmm little disappointed, drove across town just to come for coffee. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
