We had a fabulous dinner tonight at the Mason Jar Pub in Fort Lauderdale. My friend, Phyllis, and I both loved the food at their other restaurant -- the Mason Jar Cafe, so we decided to try it here. It's a tiny little place with a very cozy atmosphere. I took pictures of some of the inside decor. There is also seating outside with fans and misters. Phyllis had a Caesar salad and their BBQ Rib special with a side of sweet potato fries. The ribs were huge, meaty, and very tasty. The sweet potato fries were truly the best we ever had! Not greasy and full of flavor. I started with a house salad and then had an entree of Shrimp with Penne. It was in a tomato cream sauce, with spinach, mushrooms and Parmesan cheese. Delicious! The service was very good and the food was excellent. We definitely want to go back again soon to try their burgers.
