Wowee, I was really not expecting everything to be as good as it was. The macaroni was GLORIOUS. Legit some of the best Mac I've ever had. Parmesan fries were very good too; they had a great balance of garlic bite and smooth Parmesan. They stayed crispy the entire time they existed during the meal, and they weren't super greasy like some other places. I got the original Burger and my GF got the same w/ BLT add-ons. Both were great, 8.5/10 imo, GF agrees- "Out of every burger I've ever had, 8.5 or 9. It was very good." They were cooked perfectly and had a really nice beef flavor. We both really liked the jalapeño-pickle relish, it was very light and was a unique twist on the classic. Staff was also super great, it was slow since it was a Monday night and they actually brang our food out to us right as I stood up to go get it lol. Brother at the front was really nice and the rest of the staff in the back was really friendly too. Really great experience overall. Definitely recommend anyone trying it out to get the Mac =) Edit: Ah! I forgot about the root beer! OMg! So good! It's a really nice, rich, mellow flavor. Would be perfect in a float. SO so good. I forgot to ask about the brand, v sad. Almost tasted like a mix of A&W and Barque, my gf said. I agree. Apparently it's made w Cane Sugar too which partly explains why it's got a richer flavor. Ordered a simple burger and fries to go, but was given a grilled cheese instead—pretty frustrating for such a basic order. They did refund me after I called in which I appreciate, but a replacement burger would’ve gone a lot further. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters, and this felt like a missed opportunity to keep me as customer. I was fortune enough to be able to try The Melt a few weeks ago as part of a Yelp Elite event. I had an excellent dine-in experience then so I was excited to try them out again as a regular customer this time around. Here's what I ordered: **Original Meltburger: Added lettuce, tomato, and raw onion free of charge. It was a delicious burger so no complaints here. (5/5) **Spicy Crispy Sandwich: The chicken by itself was a little bland but everything else included enhanced the flavor. Their pickle-jalapeño mix and spicy melt sauce are absolutely delicious! I added lettuce and tomato free of charge and was a great choice. (4/5) **Steak & Cheese Sandwich: Delicious! There was a kick of spice from the jalapeños. The addition of red peppers and grilled onions were amazing. The overall sandwich was perfect but the meat was definitely on the saltier side. (4/5) **Sweet Potato Fries: Had a nice balance of salty and sweet. The portion for the fries were on the smaller side but overall, very good! (4/5 I had placed an order for pick-up via their online website for 1:30 PM on Monday (3/30/26). I arrived promptly at 1:30 PM and saw my name on the screen stating it was ready but nobody was at the front to greet me. There was a cook in the back fulfilling my order and another take-out customer's food which was fine. There was a crew member just hanging out in the back not acknowledging me or the people that had just entered behind me. I stood there awkwardly for a few minutes before the cook said he'd be right with us. That crew member lounging around in the back needs to be re-trained to greet customers as they enter the door especially for a new thriving business like this one. This is the only reason why this is a 4-star review instead of a 5-star review. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20
