Went on Sat April 17th 2021, food was really good, drinks were well made. Restaurant is very nice. However, I'm giving it a 3 stars because of the tall dark haired gentleman ( I think possibly the owner). He was rather short with us, not much personality and didn't seem to happy to be there. That being said there was a young man Christian ( I think that was his name ) made uo for it, he was polite , kind and had a friendly smile and our table noticed it and personally gave him a tip, even after he made a mistake at another table which led to the other gentleman banginf plates around. The lady behind the bar was also very welcoming.I'd go back because of the food but hopefully the one staff member or owner will be in a better mood.

We visited The Mess Hall for a birthday dinner. The Four of us chose different dishes. They were all delicious. In particular, the seafood linguini had such good quality prawns, mussels and pipis and flavor. All the dishes were great quality. Dessert of panacotta didn’t disappoint either. The service was friendly and the staff went out of their way to make our dining experience a good one. We will be back!
