Busy buzzing popular place on Sunday morning brunch where my friend raved about the place for its food. Yes the platter for 2 was instagram-envy worthy. However, improvements can be made in their timing. We booked for 10.30AM, but still had to wait 15 minutes. Friendly server was busy working the front of the house where she had to tend to people inside and outside the establishment and we probably were there during their peak time which was a surprise to see the one main server. Another person, perhaps the owner or manager helped out front from time to time which I thought, if you know your only wait staff is busy, take the initiative to help take orders, clear tables, quality check and be engaged with the customers rather than just monitor the situation. By the time a third person came out to help, rush hour service was over.

If you are looking for an excellent breakfast in Adelaide the Messy Tomato is a must! We visited with 2 small children and were looked after straight away with high chairs, and the food ordered for the children came first to keep the little ones happy. We ordered the breakfast platter, it was just delicious and well balanced with something for everyone. Even if you just want to come down for a great coffee and a good yarn, Tony will make you feel welcome and is a delight talking to.
