Went here for my wife’s birthday and had a fabulous meal. The food was lovely and all the staff were very polite and professional. Would highly recommend the Midland and we will be back soon. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pie and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

We had a good time at the Midlands hotel. The steak was sadly a slight letdown as it was premiumly priced but was fatty and not the best. We ordered a second starter for the table which came out smaller than the first. Both knocked off a point. The staff were lovely and the remaining seven dishes all received positive feedback.
