Beautiful rooftop with a lovely view and a great atmosphere! The place is perfect for relaxing, taking photos, and enjoying a nice meal. The ambiance was really pleasant, and the view made the experience even better. Overall, a nice place for spending time with friends or family. I’d definitely consider visiting again! EPIC experience!!! Food was amazing! Service was excellent! View was the cherry on top. I live in the Bay Area and eat at Napa often … this was one of the most DELICIOUS meals I’ve ever had!!! The hamam downstairs is owned by the same owner and is equally as sensational!!!

A Hidden Gem Above the Bosphorus Sometimes the best places aren’t the ones you’ve planned to visit… they’re the ones you stumble across by accident. Tucked away down a charming cobbled side street on Istanbul’s European side, I discovered the beautiful Royal Terrace Lounge & Hotel, and what a find it was! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The owner couldn’t have been kinder, personally showing me around the stunning spa and hammam facilities, which were absolutely beautiful. In fact, I’m seriously considering going back today to treat myself! The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views across the Bosphorus, creating the perfect setting to relax with a glass of rosé and watch the city sparkle. The food was exceptional – the chicken soup was honestly one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. A special mention to the lovely waitress who looked after me so well. She was incredibly helpful, happily taking photos for me and making sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. I’ve seen plenty of places online charging a fortune for rooftop experiences and photo opportunities, but this felt authentic, welcoming, and amazingly good value. The atmosphere, the views, the food, the drinks, the spa, and above all the kindness of the people made this one of my favourite discoveries in Istanbul. If you’re looking for somewhere special away from the crowds, this little hidden treasure is worth seeking out. A truly magical Istanbul find that I won’t forget in a hurry.
