Visited here last week. It is a very tidy place and all the staff were very friendly. The food was spot on. I got a ploughman's sandwich which came with plenty of sides on the plate. My partner got a gluten free ham and cheese sandwich which was also beautiful. The prices were also fair. The atmosphere was friendly. I was surprised to read that some people weren't happy with the visit here because my visit was pleasant and I will definitely be returning if I go to the area again. I'm glad we chose to eat here . Doing a gluten free menu is a must for my partner as she has coeliac disease so it's important that where we eat takes care when preparing the food. I can assure everyone we didn't have any problems here so that's worth noting too. Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free menu available. We go to Cheddar Gorge every year (sometimes twice a year) and our first port of call is The Mousehole cafe! The quality of the food is fantastic and a real decent portion too. The staff are always happy, bubbly and positive and ready to help and I would highly recommend a trip to this cafe! I cannot wait to return!
