Walking near Abingdon County Hall Museum, visit this cafe. Luckily you can taste British cuisine. Here you will find good roast beef, rump steaks and haddock. Ordering tasty che, crème brûlée and yorkshire pudding is what a number of visitors recommend. Many guests suppose that you can try delicious cask ale, lager or mulled wine at Nags Head. A lot of visitors order great chocolate frappe.

At this place, you can hold any party, whether it's an anniversary, a wedding or a birthday party. The fast service and the friendly staff are its big benefits. Also, clients recommend this spot because of reasonable prices. The fine decor and comfortable atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. Google users awarded the rating of 4.3 to this cafe.

This just makes 4 stars and the reasons are...What a wonderful outdoor decking area by the river. It really is lovely. Unfortunately one of our guests could not sit out in the sun and so we asked if we could be moved from a table with no umbrella to a table with an umbrella. They couldn't/wouldn't do it so we went indoors. Service was slow, and we had to ask for cutlery. The food was good but very different... the Eton mess dessert was a cheese cake with meringue, fruit compote and cream on top. The Walford salad was not what we were expecting but it was fresh. The beers were nice and cold, the espresso coffee was good and the price was OK.I would go back and hopefully sit outdoors for a relaxing afternoon.

The Nags Head has a lovely setting and we would suggest having a drink, taking in the view, then going elsewhere for food. Food is poor quality for the price, and the staff are often dismissive and aloof.
