We were so happy with the hotel this restaurant was located in, but unfortunately our dinner just didn't match our hopes. We drove in for one Friday night and we didn't want to drive to another spot for dinner, so we stayed in for dinner at The Normal because the menu looked solid. The salad appeared to be made from packaged and/or frozen veggies and the rosé by the glass was so sad. The server was very nice, but took a silly long time (considering there was only one other table there) and then we couldn't find her when it was time to pay. It was such a bummer.. they are in a great hotel across from Gammage at ASU, so this place could kill it. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

It appears The Normal is no more. It seems to have been taken over by ASU and is now a campus food hall. It was not open for breakfast when I tried it.

The Normal Restaurant and Bar is a kinda cool concept. It's basically Cali street food in a restaurant. They have all kinds of different Bacon wrapped hot dogs. They are a little more than your typical street dog but you also get a little more too. They have 3 different buns to choose from. (I just got the regular bun).
