A cosy pub with an authentic and unpretentious 'village pub' feel together with a warm welcome. Warm open fires on cold nights. A good selection of beers and ciders on draft. On designated 'food nights' (not every night, so check) meals are freshly prepared and delicious. Pie night in particular is top notch. Not many 'old school' pubs like this around, so a visit recommended. Service: 5
