This place could be so awesomegreat place on the waterhowever, our food experience was not good to say the leastwe waited almost an hour for our food because the waitress forgot to put in our order. She comped us with stale chips and salsa. The food wasn’t great-too greasy. And the menu needs to be a bit more descriptive with their food items. Jalapeño poppers are fried jalepenos with cream cheese. They are not bacon wrapped jalapeños. The whole food experience there was disappointing. There were employees standing around doing nothing and we waited forever to be waited on. Whoever owns this place, take a great opportunity and make this place worth coming to.

The Shack at Joe Pool lake has awesome food. My son who is normally picky, said it was bestest food period. We had fish and fish tacos and it was so good. Hat's off to the chef, he did that!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
