It's very rare going to a restaurant for the first time, ordering without any prior recommendations and yet every dish on the table turning out absolutely delicious. This was the case with The Observatory. The ambience of the place is very unique, not overdone. We went without a reservation but only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The artwork keeps you engaged during the wait. Ordered Spicy basil rigatoni, chicken kiev and grilled chicken. All three were made just right, perfect blend of flavors, good presentation and ample serving size. Staff is also very cooperative. It took them longer than usual to prepare our food but appreciated the heads up given to us by the manager for the extra wait as they had an inspection ongoing by the food authority. Would definitely go again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: Rs 3,000–4,000

The place honestly had a nice vibe and space. the seatings are nice and comfortable. the food is simple but done right and clean. the serving sizes are very reasonable. not a lot of appetizers on the menu. Had brisket bun kebab, the taste was good but overally sauced with mayonnaise. we also ordered the pad thai noodles, steak, and i forgot the name of spicy beef chinese/thai style. it was all very good. not exceptionally out of this world, a few things here and there which i would recomend improving. but I had a good experience. the service really needs improving. more attention to whats happening on the guests table, waiting for drinks, multiple times asking for drinks, napkins, etc. took a while for the order being placed as well. the little things are what counts and makes a difference. we had made a prior reservation, hence we did not have to wait for a table. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: Rs 10,000+ Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

The experience began in a somewhat unfavourable manner. Despite reservation, there was no parking available and the security staff was quite curt and dismissive. We had to park in the basement parking of another building and then had to walk to the restaurant. However, once we were shown in, it was like a breath of fresh air. The place is tastefully decorated and the ambiance is on point. The menu looked like a lot of thought had gone in to its planning. Tge staff inside was incredibly courteous and helpful. The 19B soup was ok, but the pan seared chicken more than made up for it. The mushroom sauce and the mashed potatoes really tied up the whole meal very nicely. The stuffed chicken was also decent. Definitely worth at least one visit. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: Rs 3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
