Trying perfectly cooked fried chicken, fried chicken sandwiches and chicken salads is what a number of clients recommend. At this bar, visitors may have delicious bourbon, draft beer or scotch. The Old Gold is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices are adequate for the quality you get. As most reviewers notice, the atmosphere is homey. This place scored 4.5 in the Google rating system.

I ended up getting a ham cheese sandwich, garden salad, and loaded cheesy fries. It was by far one of the best salads I have had in a while. Leafs, carrots, and cucumbers are so crisp and fresh that you can almost taste the dirt. Sandwich and fries made with real Tillamook cheddar cheese. Staff was friendly and willing to try new drink recipes. For the service, overall quality, and price, this place is adequately priced. You get what you pay for, don't be a bum, and TIP your bartenders. Thank you, "Old Gold" for you service and hospitality. I'll be coming back soon. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I've lived in the neighborhood four years and tonight was my fourth and last visit. Went with neighbors who swear this place is good but each time I've visited the Old Gold it misses the mark on food, value, and service. I don't mind paying $16 for a burger but here I do. Also tried the chicken banh mi and there was barely any chicken. The ingredients are quality but there's barely any of those ingredients on the plate. Nice cocktail selection but having to order at the bar and get almost no rapport from the bartender felt like, what am I doing here in this place. The regulars we went with with were quite disappointed that the french fries had changed and were no longer the thin crispy fries of days gone by. Consistency is everything. Low energy, low quality, fool's gold. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

The worst customer service I have ever received. I have never left a one star review for any business in my life, but I had to after visiting this place the other night. Additionally, I have a lot of respect and patience for restaurant workers as I have years of experience working in them and I have never had any issue with them before. We went here with a group one night to check it out and there was a women in the bar with tattoos that was incredibly rude to our entire party even refusing to even acknowledge someone in our group, therefore he was unable to order! There are plenty of great bars nearby that I would recommend checking out instead. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
