Denali Crow's Nest Lodge is taking reservations for 2024 AND will gladly charge one's credit card. However, if you want to make a change, they do not answer the phone or return emails as they are 'closed for the season'. Buyer Be Ware. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

Very poor customer service. It seems like the property is run by foreign speaking very young people from Europe who seem to not care about their customers or understand English. I had to call several times just to explain and follow up with them. It's very tiring and frustrating. I don't know how this place stays in business with the way they run this property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Denali Crow's Nest Log Cabins. The Crow's Nest Log Cabins are located roughly one mile from the entrance to Denali National Park (towards the town of Healy). It is across from the Princess Lodge, and on the hill above shops and restaurants on its side of the road (opposite the Princess Lodge}. Kind of easy to miss the entrance (prior to all the shops on its side of the road, and towards the bridge you cross when on your way from Denali National Park), but once you know where it is, you can't miss it. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A boxed breakfast for each guest is included with your stay (in the cooler inside the main office). The room had a king size bed, a table for two, a Keurig coffee maker, a bathroom with a stand-up shower, and a sink in the bedroom area. Outside each room is an insulated cooler for your use, and complimentary bags of ice are available in a freezer outside the main office. There are multiple levels of cabins, and you have to park below the main office. Stairs are required in order to get to every level, but the higher you go, the better the view. Although we didn't need help, staff will assist you with getting your luggage to your room if you're unable to. The Overlook restaurant lives up to its name, with a beautiful view of the area. The food and service were fantastic (we had a salmon entree and reindeer stew that were out of this world - thank you, Bruce!). Our waitress was very attentive and friendly (thank you, Samantha!). We highly recommend staying here, and also visiting the restaurant as well (note: the Overlook is seasonal, and it shuts down towards the end of the week of Labor Day, depending on when supplies run out).
