I was going to write a letter but I’m sure this will reach the owners Jeff & Melanie quicker that a letter as-well as the senior (aged) customers of your Webber St location. We came to your Webber St location on September 15 2023 around 5 pm for dinner to give it a try , we had been to your 52nd Place many times over the many years while there on vacation. Our friends live there in Florida and even suggested your location to us . My issue isn’t that your location would not allow a 91 year old customer order off your child’s menu. We did order her a meal off the regular priced menu cost wasn’t the issue. My issue is what your manager (Ava) had to say to us when we approached her as we were leaving we tried to explain that just on Wednesday September 13 we were allowed to order her meal off the child’s menu at your other location at 52nd Place many times over the years and was asking why this location didn’t allow seniors to order off the child’s menu and Ava’s response to us was that she had contacted the location manager and that they don’t allow it either (when did she call the other manager we only just ask her as we were leaving she never left the door ) and she implied that we were not being truthful but what really got me so annoyed was her next statement to us (get a doctors note stating that she has had her stomach stapled and then she could order off the child’s menu) So if your taking your senior aged parent or grandparent to the Webber St location for any meal get a doctors note per (Ava) the location manager statement that they require a doctors note instead of being respectful of their senior aged customers , she would rather insult or embarrass them by asking for a doctors note stating personal information about having their stomach stapled . This says to me that if you have an eating disorder with a doctors note you can order off the child’s menu no matter your age but if your a healthy senior aged (91 years old mind you )customer who just can’t eat a lot and doesn’t want to waste food you can’t order off the child’s menu. Hey an idea what about a little change in your child’s menu not the food just the age requirements you know you can say children and seniors you can even choose the seniors age like you do for the children . So I personally can not give a 5 star rating for this manager(Ava) behavior towards her senior aged customers. I believe that this manager (Ava) needs training in compassion when dealing with our valued senior aged members of our families

It may look like your average neighborhood restaurant joint, but The Parrot Patio Bar & Grill is anything but!
I wandered in to watch the Super Bowl last night and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aromas. The restaurant was buzzing - drinks were served swiftly as was the food. The Ahi Tuna Appetizer is a must-try drizzled with a creamy wasabi sauce. It’s the type of appetizer you won’t want to share ???? #sodelish #sarasotabest
