Fantastic gem of a pub!! First visit here for my wife and she loved the food! She had Calamari and soup which was delicious! I had the burger which was also super delicious. But what made our visit this weekend so great was the excellent and friendly service from both Rob and Ella, from the moment we walked in, to when we left after our lunch they were super!! Thank you both. I cannot recommend The Pinhoe Hoard enough, We will be back!! :) Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Beef Burger, Soup, Fries

I don’t normally write reviews but I just wanted to make people aware that this place is a complete rip off for what it is. First of all it’s over £6 for a pint. You wouldn’t even pay that much at popular pubs and bars in the city centre and this place is outside of town. What was even more annoying is that I paid £5 for such a small portion of cheesey chips. There was about 12 chips in the bowl, hardly any cheese and it took roughly 45 mins to arrive at the table. When I asked the server whether this was normal, he completely agreed and said it’s a terrible portion size Whoever’s running the show should take note and make some changes! Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We had a very enjoyable time at the Pinhoe Hoard tonight. We were served by Emma who was very attentive! The food was very good, cannot fault the experience! Was able to use a voucher for £10.00 off! Thank you, we will definitely be back!
