I went in to watch the Mariners game, and I asked if it was okay for them to turn on the volume but the bartender said we can't unless at least 2 people ask for the volume to be turned on. I wasn't asking for the volume to be blasted, I just wanted to hear the commentary. Anyway, I ordered the food but it was just fine, nothing mind-blowing. The beer selection is better at Elliott Bay, which I went to right after I finished my beer (it's just down the street). Elliott Bay also had the Mariners game on, and when I asked if they could turn on the volume they did! And I was the only one who asked. The only thing The Point has on the Elliott Bay is that it's open a little later, but that's it. Elliott Bay in the other hand allowed us to stay past closing time because the Mariners game was wrapping up. I would say that's proper customer service. We decided to grab some burgers while catching the World Cup, and it turned out to be such a great experience. The food was delicious, and the service was quick and efficient, making sure we got a great seat right away. The atmosphere was amazing — everyone was having a good time, which made the whole experience even better. The drinks were definitely something different, but surprisingly enjoyable.
