Yuk, yuk, yuk. This is probably some of the worst food I’ve had in a long time. Packet coleslaw. Hot chips were more warm chips. The steak sandwich was fatty and pale, meat small in size and not caramelised. The soft drinks were flat and not cold enough. As my husband was paying the muffins and hot cross buns near the cash register were covered in flys. We’d driven 2hrs for this $250 lunch and it was highly disappointing. However the wine was lovely and the grounds beautiful, such a shame the food and service wasn’t up to scratch. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$200+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Everything was excellent: service, ambiance, weather! We sat outside. My jaw dropped when the salmon dish was brought out. To say the salmon portions were mean is being generous. The salad was ordinary and the pearl couscous was unenhanced: The plate was not for a main meal. This for $33. The vegie pizza was almost excellent: great crust, sauce etc were tasty although small for $26 and where was the truffle? Neither taste nor smell present! We have eaten here before and enjoyed the experience and food, but this time the food was less than acceptable. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Some pizzas, some salad ,s gnocchi(?), not many. Dietary restrictions: A few.

We had brunch at the Provedore with some friends and it is such a great atmosphere. The cafe had a wide range of options and it is a very relaxing environment, specially when you are coming with your kids. They also have games for the kids. Much better than the previous cafe that was here a number of years ago. Overall, it is worth a visit and there is also a look out point in the winery tower and an art gallery underground which is also worth visiting. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
