We were recommended to go here as they had a better choice of cake than anywhere in Wirksworth itself. So glad we did, coffee was delicious and the Bakewell Tart choice and flavour were amazing. Very chilled atmosphere, polite and helpful staff. Highly recommend. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The quarry cafe at the national stone centre is a lovely little find located just off the high peak trail. It's not easy to get from the trail to the cafe as we had someone in a wheelchair, but we did drive to this place after seeing it from the trail. Good selection of food and drinks, and very modern restaurant, lovely views across the area from here. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
