Not only should Lake Tuggeranong be visited, but also The RUC. Enjoy Australian cuisine at this bar. Perfectly cooked steaks, calamari and pork may be what you need. It's nice to order good beer. Choose delicious ginger beer, you will hardly regret it.

The warm atmosphere of The RUC makes guests feel relaxed and have a good time. Service at this place is something one can call cool. This spot is ranked 4.2 within the Google grading system.

Drop in for lunch while holidaying in the area, wasn't disappointed the food was great and the service and staff were friendly

The RUC is in a really good position at Turner. Plenty of parking and it's situated off the main road. I visited for Sunday lunch and was greeted warmly by the staff member at reception who was most helpful. The menu is varied and the bar is well stocked. I recommend the brisket sandwich and the crunchy fries which is almost too much for one, even if you are hungry. Next time I'll try a pizza as they looked delicious too and are clearly generous in size. Many patrons were taking left overs home. My only constructive suggestion is that less experienced staff at the coffee bar need to learn to make a coffee to the patron's request. I'm not one for Bowls but I'll be going back for the food as it is delicious. And membership is cheap! Get hungry and give the RUC a visit.

Wouldn’t hurt the staff to smile occasionally…even a rudimentary acknowledgment whilst ordering food or drinks would be welcomed…
