AMAZING restaurant! I am so impressed! The scotch egg was absolutely delicious with the yolks perfectly soft; exactly what I was hoping for. My fish & chips were fantastic! I usually do not like thick fries because they never seem fully cooked, but these ones were nice & crispy through and through! The mushy peas & tartar sauce that came on the side were very yummy too. My husband really enjoyed his burger, and our drinks were also great! I tried the Crimson Hare, I believe? Our waitress was lovely and really every staff member we interacted with was very welcoming and friendly. My only regret is that I forgot to get the sticky toffee pudding!!! Ahhh!! I will 100% be visiting here again, the next time we are in Toronto. Looking forward to it already thank you!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Atmosphere becomes more and more important as you get older, and that’s the first thing you notice when you walk into Rabbit Hole. It feels like you’ve been transported to a pub on an English countryside road, which creates a fantastic first impression. Of course, a great venue is only as good as the people who work there, and we had the pleasure of being looked after at the bar by Molly. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations based on what we were looking for. She suggested a “Blushing Bunny” cocktail, and I trusted her recommendation without hesitation. It turned out to be absolutely fantastic. As with all great places, one drink quickly turned into a couple, and before we knew it, we were settled in having a wonderful evening. We’ll definitely be back for Summerlicious. Thank you again, Molly, for making our first visit to Rabbit Hole such a memorable one. We can’t wait to return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Rabbit Hole nails the atmosphere. The dark wood interior, vintage British pub aesthetic, candle-lit tables, and overall downtown Toronto vibe make this one of the more visually appealing spots I’ve been to in the Financial District. It feels upscale without being overly formal, and the decor genuinely gives the space personality instead of feeling like another generic chain-style restaurant. Great spot for a date night, drinks after work, or a slower evening downtown. Food-wise, the bacon burger was excellent, juicy, flavorful, and probably the standout item from our visit. The steak & mushroom pie was solid comfort food and fit the British pub theme well, especially with the rich gravy and mashed potatoes. Presentation across the table was very good, and the overall experience felt polished. That said, while everything was good, nothing besides the ambiance really crossed into “must come back” territory for me personallyespecially at this price point in Toronto where there are a lot of highly competitive dining options. The Rabbit Hole is definitely worth trying at least once for the atmosphere alone, but I’m not sure the food itself was memorable enough to make it a regular rotation spot. Overall though: beautiful interior, strong pub atmosphere, friendly service, and a very well-executed British gastropub concept in downtown Toronto.
