The Rainbow On The Lake was a half-way venue for meeting family on Christmas Eve. We booked lunch for a group of eight due to its ease of access (just off the A36) and good reviews. We weren't disappointed. The table was prepared for our arrival and the Landlord was extremely welcoming & friendly. The meal was enhanced by a lovely selection of fruit ciders. The pub is wheelchair accessible (with the addition of a ramp which the Landlord sorted out). It has a disabled toilet and is dog friendly. The pub has a large garden with picnic benches. There is a public children's play area a couple of minute's walk away (at the bottom of Edgars Close) plus Langford Lakes Nature Reserve is nearby (no dogs).
