It pains me to leave a negative review for this place. I try to be fair with any review I write. There’s no argument from me, the food from The Raj is absolutely perfect. In fact, I’ve never had a bad meal from here. However, over the past few months the service has been nothing short of terrible. They’ve accepted orders via Foodhub and then after 40 mins cancelled AND Foodhub take the payment and then you have to go through the hassle of claiming off Foodhub and waiting days for the refund. Or they leave orders pending on the app and don’t respond. If the owners read this review, here’s a tip: TURN OFF YOUR ORDER SYSTEM IF YOU DON’T INTEND TO ACCEPT ORDERS. They NEVER answer the phone. Sometimes it diverts to a mobile and after more ringing ‘this number is not accepting calls.’ It’s clear The Raj DON’T want your custom. So don’t waste your time trying to order. A real shame, 10/10 for food. 0/10 for service. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 1
