Had a lovely breakfast at The Rendezvous Cafe in Inverness! I ordered the traditional Scottish breakfast along with a latte, and everything was delicious. The service was excellent—friendly and quick, which made for a great start to the day. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a wonderful spot to relax and catch up with friends or family. One thing to note is that the tables are on the smaller side, so it’s best suited for groups of 2–4 people rather than larger gatherings. Overall, great food, fantastic service, and a cozy environment. I’d happily stop by again when in Inverness! Cute little stop in Inverness, but not exactly life-changing. I had scrambled eggs with salmon and avocado on sourdough, which sounded like a main character moment but ended up being a bit mid. Not bad, just not the breakfast glow-up I was hoping for. He had the porridge, which was solid, comforting, very “I make sensible choices” energy. Nice vibe overall, decent place to sit and refuel, just don’t go in expecting fireworks on a plate. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Breakfast at The Rendezvous Café was delcent and a good value for the quality of the food, matched by friendly and efficient service. The four of us chose this spot partly for its history—The Beatles are said to have performed here in their very early days—which added a nice touch to the experience. The cappuccinos were enormous and very well brewed, and the filled ham roll was fresh and full of flavour. The sausage was the homerun of the breakfast. The porridge, however, was a little disappointing—quite dry and overly thick. Overall, it was a positive experience, made especially enjoyable by the warm and welcoming service.
