We had a wonderful dining experience. My family and I really enjoyed our meal — the portions were generous, and the food was amazing, especially the crab fried rice and pad Thai. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially with my mum who was in a wheelchair. They made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Special thanks to Chef Tommy and his wife Kate for being so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–40

Coming from Melbourne, I’ve got a pretty high bar for South East Asian food, but The Rice Corner absolutely holds its own and this place could easily compete with the top-tier spots back home or in Sydney. The flavors are punchy, bold, and totally legit—not the dialed-down version you often get. Battery Point is lucky to have it!
