I have been following the Ridge Coffee Shop on instagram for some time. The pastries always look sensational and on Sunday I managed to get there for the first time to try for myself. It did not disappoint! I struggled to choose but finally decided on a Pistachio pain au suisse. It was amazing and certainly worth the wait. The cafe was extremely busy and whilst I queued I watched the staff trying to attend and please all their customers. The lady on the till remained incredibly calm and patient, despite several unexpected problems. She smiled and reassured everyone constantly. I will definitely be back to try more of the pastries. Wow the prices in this coffee shop is ridiculous, £9 for 3 jam donuts is shocking !! Won’t be returning
