Stopped for lunch after not visiting for some time. This pub used to be worth traveling for, we have had some excellent meals there in the past. The pub was a bit cold, a big old fire would have been great.Service was great, the starter, not so much, but it was taken away quickly without argument, an not charged for.The mains were excellent, and could not be faulted. One constant however was the quality of the beer. Landlord was excellent, and at £4 a pint, very reasonable. Will go again, if the heating is on and the starter somewhat better, the Rigbye Arms would deserve 5*.
