The Rising Sun Inn to give its proper name is one of the finest 16th Century coaching Inns I have frequented. The food is excellent and sourced locally even if the salmon comes down from Scotland overnight. Good range of local real ales, some coming from a local brewery just a mile down the road. The bangers and mash are something to die for and the husband and wife team who run it are very attentative , friendly and helpful. If you are in the area, it is a must stop. You won't be disappointed.
