New lease holders only been in for 8-9weeks.Friendly staff, spot on pint, just starting to do food on Friday 12-7, Sat 12-7, Sun 12-5.Give it a try , it will only get better. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely pub and kitchen. Warm and comforting. Lovely, friendly staff and delicious food and drinks! We will be back! Highly recommend!

Went in for Sunday dinner, we were told there's only Gammon and Quorn. Decided to stay anyway and ordered 3 Gammon. Waited 45 mins before having to ask what's up. Were told things went wrong. Waited another quarter of an hour with zero communication, before being brought one chicken an mushroom something (after being told there was no chicken) again no explanation no communication so we left hungry to go cook at home. Apologetic at the end but could have saved the situation earlier with basic good customer service. Poor show. Hope they turn it around as it would be great to see the Rising Sun succeed this time.
