College Sweethearts reconnected after 35 years. Wanted to make our 6th Anniversary special. The Rose Plantation delivered with personal attention, great food, and wonderful early 20th century ambience. My wife was delighted. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The stars are for the ambience, including a pleasant background of piano music. I am always put off by drinks and dinner offerings that are given without a price, but that is what is server did. I don't want to seem cheap but I do not want to be surprised by a final bill. Again m the surroundings are pleasant. BTW, be sure to inquire of the dress code so you are not caught off guard. My wife's shrimp and pasta dish was adequate on the pasta and taste, but short on the shrimp. As for my small, bland chicken breast...fortunately I am on a diet since the plate came with only the chicken and a bed of rice. No side dish. And here is my problem... I'm aware of the increase in cost for food and supplies, but the pricing here just seemed out of line with what was tendered from the kitchen.

Had a great lunch with friends on Tuesday Feb 8 it was raining all day Brittany was a lovely server very attentive. When we were ready to leave our driver had a flat tire and roadside asst. would be 6hrs away. Many thanks to Gen.Mgr Jay and his assistance Josh they went above and beyond to get air in the spare and change the flat tire for her. We were grateful to you both. See you soon!!
