I have mixed feelings about Rosemary & Beauty Queen in Nashville. The place is in a neighborhood and looks like a house with a courtyard in the center. The music was lively and the sitting areas were cozy up front. On the other side of the courtyard is another room that was playing loud techno/electronic house music and was more like a club. I found many people dancing in there as the night progressed. The food wasn't great. I had soft tacos and the brisket was the best. It was tender and full of flavor. The other tacos were bland. The cocktail was tasty in a tropical sort of way. The service was trash. We sat at the bar. After our drink and food order, the bartender never came back to check on us. We actually wanted to order another tasty adult beverage. We went to look around at the roof top, which is a deck and another bar outside, and one of the security guys yelled at me from a distance with a tone like I was about to destroy the place. As a much older adult, I really didn't appreciate that. Anyway, I won't be returning.
