Really beautiful hotel! Walkable to a ton of local spots. Incredibly clean and the bathroom is huge. The little coffee bar in the room is really nice, too.

While planning a birthday/40th wedding anniversary road trip from Buffalo through Niagara Falls/Toronto to Montreal on the Canadian side, I saw Kingston was about halfway between Toronto/Montreal. Wolfe Island looked like a good place to visit while in Kingston. When I saw the Roxy Hotel in Cape Vincent was a short ferry ride away, I thought spending part of our trip there would enhance our little romantic adventure, so I added it to the itinerary after checking online for the ferry schedule. It wasn't until we pulled into the Kingston ferry parking lot that we discovered Horne's Ferry to Cape Vincent has ceased operation. The info I had obtained was old and incorrect! I immediately contacted our host and explained my issue and asked if they would consider a refund due to the circumstances. A refund was graciously granted and very much appreciated. Thank you so much! Unfortunately, I can't give a review on the hotel/room since we didn't make it over there, but I can say that the service is superb and the location would've been excellent for our trip! If my journey should ever bring me this way again, I will definitely book a stay at the Roxy Hotel! Service: 5
