Possibly the best view in the Bay! The Ship Inn (the town's oldest pub), is located on Herne Bay seafront, overlooking the promenade and beach. Plenty of comfortable seating inside, and an outside deck area for the warmer months. Well kept beers and a menu we're proud of, using locally sourced produce where possible. We always have seafood dishes available, please see our Chef's Specials. We're open 12pm - 11pm daily and 11.45pm Fridays.
We absolutely loved The Ship Inn. Staff were friendly and really accommodating, even turning the music down on the speakers for the autistic members of our party to feel more comfortable. We enjoyed the "Filthy Fries" and "Not so Filthy Fries", the gnocchi and the pork belly, as well as two starters (sweetcorn ribs in BBQ sauce and halloumi fries). Really tasty food and a nice atmosphere. They had a space where dogs weren't allowed which was helpful too. Highly recommended! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

13 telephone attempts to book a table, all cut off. Staff are extremely unfriendly and make you feel unwelcome. Although the view is excellent it is outweighed by the poor service and unfriendliness.
