Delicious fish and chips! Went for lunch and it wasn't too busy. Lovely pub and just a couple of minutes walk to the beach.

Stoped for food a few days ago,great outside space but we ate inside.Service was good ,food was hot but average.Unfortunately we had to share the space with dogs and their irresponsible owners who strangely think the animals love to be in a busy environment and shoved under a small table.Yes I do know every restaurant shop and cafe allow this,doesn’t make it right or hygienic.

We regularly walk our dog on Par beach throughout the year. Yesterday we decided to stop at The Ship Inn for the first time to have a drink and some lunch. What a great set up in the garden(s), we could have stayed all day! The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the food was well presented, tasty, and served in a timely manor. The only thing to not like was the man sat nearby without his shirt off , who obviously thought he was worth sharing! Will definitely be returning, even for a warm up on winter days
