We stayed at The Standard Inn last weekend for our anniversary. The pub is in a great location in the heart of everything. The pub was beautiful and we loved the room (the Hythe) which I think is one of the largest, if not the largest room. We sadly didn’t eat at the pub for dinner which we regretted as the food looked delicious and we had a terrible meal elsewhere. The breakfast, however, was lovely! Such a beautiful place and if we come to Rye again we will stay here again.
