Went to the star the other day on the way to the train station for the first time and was pleasantly surprised having been there a long time ago what a change. Bar staff very polite and I think the man in charge was amazing and very welcoming. I think his name was Slade which funny enough is one of my favourite bands!!! Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Limited food options with a partner business outside which is good separate from the pub. Rude and unfriendly staff make people feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Unfortunately one of the few pubs that show sports in the area. Price per person: £1–10 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

This is a sports bar in my opinion. As visitors to the area, we felt like the locals viewed us as interlopers for the hour we visited. The only food seemed to be crisps and nuts. It has no atmosphere to speak of and is was not friendly to our party of five. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
