Food was superb. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Lovely atmosphere and decoration. Best pub in Tideswell Lamb shank and Cumberland sausage was absolutely gorgeous. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cumberland Sausage, Comborland Sausage Yorkshune Pudding

Lively local pub where the team. And community there were all extremely welcoming. Was told. The food is great but we were there for. Drinks only late on. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were staying in a cottage just up the road from The Star Inn, and after we arrived, we called in here for something to eat. The food was delicious. My husband had one of the homemade pies and said it was one of the best he had tasted. This also goes for the sticky toffee pudding. Lovely busy place and the owner and staff were really friendly and made you feel very at home. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
