I have been coming to The String Bean Restaurant since I was a kid and they were on Spring Valley Road close to Central Expressway, in what was before them a place called Hannah's HOME BAKED pies. Then I followed them when they moved to Spring Valley and Coit. And then I followed them to their current location on Campbell Road. I have seen many management changes and the few ownership changes they have had. I have seen the up and I have seen the downs and stuck with these folks through them all. In my opinion, the current ownership and management has brought them back from the brink and had them at the top of their class as far as neighborhood restaurants and bars. The food and service is a good as it has been, so if you are one of the people that gave up on them somewhere down the road, I urge you to give them another shot, because you will be glad you did! Got delivery ordered the marinated chicken dinner and my husband got the country fried steak dinner.. got our food delivered within 30-40mins. Thought that was pretty fast. Food was absolutely delicious and warm best homemade cooked food I've had in a very long time.. I'll definitely be ordering here from now on when I'm wanting that home cooked meal.
