Slightly above average food for an upmarket gastropub with a lovely patio area with sun, shade and heaters. Staff are consistently helpful and friendly. Prices are high for what you get, and the menu is somewhat uninspiring and lacks any individuality. That said, a very strong option if you’re wanting a gastropub in town. Beautiful atmosphere and excellent food. Not rushed with each course either. Only thing was we weren’t asked if wanted a dessert, but too busy chatting to remember to ask anyway! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £80–90

Very nice place, staff lovely and attentive. Menu for me personally was a bit of a challenge as I was struggling to find something I like. Had the chickpea salad and it was ok but nothing exciting, flatbread was more like a roll rather than flatbread. Next time will try ravioli as they looked better than the salad.
