Such a cute place to visit. We had some extra time one morning and decided to check it out. The inside is more like a bakery mainly but with a kitchen and seating. My husband and I shared an omelet and grilled cinnamon roll. The server was very kind and not overly pushy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Grilled Cinnamon Roll, Challah French Toast

The Sunflower Bakery & Cafe has definitely been a very popular restaurant on the Island for as long as I can remember. They still get very packed on certain days, and there's definitely a reason why. There's parking around and nearby the restaurant, so that is never really an issue during our visits. You get greeted by a hostess right as you walk in. If there's a wait, there are chairs by the door where you can patiently wait for your name to be called - I do wish they have a texting system so you can walk around outside especially if the wait is long The place has a cute, casual, hometown vibe to it. The menu has a decent variety of breakfast and lunch options. They also have a bakery area where they offer pastries though we didn't get any this time around, and they also have espresso, regular coffee, and wine. During our most recent visit I opted for the corned beef hash, and my wife went with the big breakfast. The hash was great and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes on both our meals were great. Service was prompt and friendly. They have staff present almost everywhere you look, so getting anything you need wasn't an option. Overall, I think you really can't go wrong with Sunflower. Food and service is good, and if you're visiting you can feel good about supporting a local business!
