Did not have food as only went to see back to black. Alana the hostess was friendly and welcoming, happy. Explained everything clearly. Alana is a credit to The Sussex Exchange. Thank you Alana Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went to sussex exchange to watch top gun which I had been really looking forward to we purchased a drink and sat down I had a small bag of sweets with me of which I ate a couple when the cinema was full a staff member came in and in front of everyone told me I couldn’t eat sweets I hadn’t purchased there I apologised and put them in my bag I didn’t know you couldn’t eat anything not bought there she then said she had to take them away like I was a child I’ve never been so humiliated this was in front of everyone if I hadn’t paid a bomb to be there and was looking forward to it I would have left my point is she should have pulled me to one side privately and said obviously staff need training I am so disgusted in how I was treated and will be making a formal complaint to the manager

If I could give you 0 stars I would because i don’t even think you deserve 1! I had nothing but hassle from start to finish with the Sussex exchange. Everyone’s lieing apart from them ( I was only told a £100 deposit was needed for the booth, when I called to pay the deposit I was then told they needed another £500 7 days before, this came as a shock as it wasn’t explained previously but we continued to pay the £500 7 days prior ) After paying the £500 I was then told an hour later it’s being cancelled due to restrictions even though they new they was having someone around to assess the place due to covid-19 but still Continued to take such a large amount of money just hours before this assessment! I explained this to the manager who was just plain and simple rude. No apology,nothing! They caused me nothing but upset and because my mum finally complained after all the stress they caused me they didn’t like that and called us liars and then they decided to also cancel my meal just hours before we was due to go there and ban us!! I could go on on about what a bad experience I had with the Sussex exchange but I would be here all night! And I feel like you Have wasted enough of my time. Awful experience I’m glad you didn’t get a penny of our money!!
