Flat out, no doubt, the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival was the absolutely most awesome beer festival I've ever been to. & I've been to a lot. Given Summer temperatures for this event are scorching (100°+F), that's quite the comentary. Beers. Lots of outstanding beers was the foundation. Beer festivals, in general, have lots of beers. That's the whole point. But FWIBF is loaded, top to bottom, with an exclusive & exceptional list of beers from highly sought & revered breweries. Whales abounded. Beyond best beers, FWIBF excelled further with level of organization. By 2018, the word was out. Tickets sold out instantaneously. Crowds were ginormous. Yet, despite all that, the line to get into the event moved quickly. & lines inside, other than for than most hyped whales, were reasonble to short. Food & water. Yeah, it's a beer festival. But access to food & water keeps the good times going. Water was readily available enough, thankfully, considering how hot it was. & food, wow. Local restaurants really brought the goods. Their pop-ups, in the event, were serving up some seriously delicious bites in abundance. For the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival, if you're on the fence about going next year, then, yeah, disregard this review & don't bother. Because tickets already sell out fast enough. I don't need the extra competition getting a ticket & you'll never know the awesomeness you're missing out on.

This place was great. Fun atmosphere, great pretzel appetizer...great service.  Prices are not over the top and we got seated right away even though they were busy on a Friday night.  Would definitely eat dinner here again.

This is the festival to end all festivals. It's nearly impossible to get tickets, and yet everyone does.   And there is good reason for it to be tough, these vendors bring it all, every year. 2016 was maybe the best yet. With over 50 breweries, and half as many food vendors, all free, plus live music, this is the place to be, even when it's 100 degrees. The event is well set-up, well organized, safe, clean, lots of water stations, shade, tents, swag, and lots and lots of beer. The people who come here are the real fans of craft beer and are respectful, fun to chat with, love to share, and are all well mild mannered. I love love love this festival and look forward to many more years of it.
