Phone is not answered to make a booking, it took me four days to get through. After successfully booking in for lunch with a friend I hadn’t seen since before the second lockdown we were allocated one and a half hours at at a table. Oh dear! It took a full half hour queuing up in a non covid secure long long queue (other fellow queues not observing social distancing)to even get to order our lunch! Food was excellent but by the time we got it we had limited time to eat up and remain at our table. Most cafes and restaurants now operate table service.Those customers who only required drinks could be left to queue but those of us having booked to eat lunch should have had table service.I love moreleys tea room but I will not be returning for a very long time due to the shambolic system in operation.
