Incredibly good breakfast tacos and mimosas. The bar had plenty of seating and even though it was crowded on a GameDay it didn't feel cramped. Highly recommend for a good weekend breakfast Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our first time there and they gave us free donuts for that! The wait staff was amazing and gave us plenty of options for us to choose from the menu. They have generous portions and we even ordered an extra to go order of the fried banana peppers to go for our 3-hour trip back home and they were still scrumptious when we got home! Updated review: Just ate here on Sunday during Texas A&M's Family Weekend following a church service we attended. Our future son-in-law got us on the wait list, so the wait was not too bad, though the place was packed, as usual. Service was very good, as always. The food was "okay," but not as good as it has been in the past, particularly the hash brown casserole. My wife and I had two different dishes, but both had the casserole as a side. It was total mush and we really should have returned it. Looking back on my picture from a year ago it was totally different. Something was definitely off during this latest visit. Still a great place to eat, but his experience was off a bit. Original review a year ago (5-star): In town for an Aggie event as well as our daughter's birthday. First time eating at The Toasted Yolk, but not the last. Had excellent service and all the food was outstanding. Enjoyed it and recommended to all! Matt, I'm bummed for two reasons, 1, we dropped down to 4 star from a 5 star and secondly for not asking for a manager. You mentioned you came in on Family Weekend, which is one of the busiest weekends of the year! We could have made a mistake, but by all means please ask for a manager if something is off or doesn't taste right and we'll make it right! Part of our culture is to make your food with passion and perfection along with being very quick and efficient because were trying to make sure everyone gets hot food fast, but occassionaly we might make a mistake. In this case, I'm sorry if the hashbrown casserole didn't meet your expectations. When you visit next time please ask for a manager so we can make absolutely sure your visit is a 5-star!
