Surprisingly cozy decor with unique artwork, excellent service and fantastic food. This was our first time eating there and we were very pleased. The mussels appetizer was delicious with very generous portions. They highly recommended the red blend wine. It was one of the best I've had in quite some time. Dinners were very good. The Tulip Tree is an excellent spot for Sunday brunch in downtown Spartanburg. We ordered the grilled watermelon salad, She Crab soup and cheeseburger with truffle fries. The entrees were fresh and delicious. The soup was cold (and lacked Sherry) and the service was a bit slow, hence the 4 Star rating.
