The Vesper is pretty near Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County. Based on the guests' opinions, waiters offer perfectly cooked fried oysters, crab cakes and mussels here. Do not go away without eating good bread pudding, French toasts and chocolate custard. It's nice to taste delicious craft beer, martinis or house wine. According to the visitors' opinions, waiters serve great press coffee, bread drink or juice.
The warm atmosphere of this bar makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. The terrific staff demonstrates a high level of quality at The Vesper. People say that the service is fast here. Attractive prices are what you will pay for your meal. Cute decor is here to attract more visitors. As for the Google rating, this place achieved 4.5.

Great service and atmosphere with high quality drinks. Food was well presented but was under seasoned, needing at least more salt and pepper on our steaks. But the potatoes were a real highlight, so it's very possible it was just a one off. Go for the vibes and good drinks! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $30–40

My wife and I were looking for a new place to celebrate our anniversary and, while we had often seen it recommended, we had never been here. We had a wonderful meal from start to finish. The place was fairly full for a Monday night, but it was quiet enough that we could easily carry a conversation. Our server was so helpful (I wish I remembered her name!) offering to show us dishes as she brought them out so we had some reference for the menu as we decided. The food was incredible, especially the Toads and Toast (loved how the balsamic glaze complemented the mushrooms and sauce) and the Seafood Cakes (the seasoning was excellent and quite potent). We also had the salad and the burger, which while cooked well-done at our request (and being a fairly thick patty), was not at all dry. In hindsight we could have ordered one fewer item as we took some of it home (3 dishes for 2 to share is enough). If you haven't been before, I highly recommend it. Price per person: $50–60

Came to The Vesper per a recommendation from family, and we were not disappointed! The burger was one of the best we’ve ever had, and definitely the best in ROC. Drinks were delicious as well. Our server Alex was phenomenal, super friendly and relatable. We’ll be back for sure! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
