Our go to Vietnamese place. They honey garlic fried chicken is unbelievable. We always get it there. We have been visiting this establishment even when they were in Spring Valley. Know the owner a long time. She is still working after all these years. We saw her even today. Price is good. Although I don't love the automatic tip charge, I will always come to this spot. Kid-friendliness: Owner loves kids. What a star of a place only a 5 minute drive from Palisades Mall! My family of 14 (4 kids under 12) called at 5pm on Saturday to ask if they could accommodate us in about 30 min and they said sure. When we arrived they had already set the tables for us. We ordered beef satays, shrimp egg rolls, reg pork egg rolls, calamari, tempura wings, a few bowls of beef pho dac biet, a couple of hu tieu ga chicken soups, I got canh chua hot and sour soup with basa, shaken beef, and a few sauteed rice specials (one with ginger + chicken, another with duck and sauteed sticky rice) and EVERYTHING was delicious. Really hit the spot on a cold rainy night. Our server was so kind and explained everything. A clean, beautiful, family run gem of a restaurant. Highly recommend. The new Little Vietnam Bar & Grill retains the same, authentic Vietnamese flavors as the old place on RT. 45 in Spring Valley. Same super nice family runs the place with the same friendly attitude they always had. The most important thing is the food is still fabulous as it always was. There is a nice big patio for outdoor dining. Little Vietnam gets my highest recommendation. There are few ethnic restaurants outside the big city as good as this.
