If you like condensation running down the windows, your clothes stinking like a greasy spoon and a breakfast £4 more expensive than the Abbey then this place is for you. puddles at the entrance, mould at the windows due to the excess condensation. The lady who took the order would be more suited to serving in a prison. Absolute shambles of a woman, rude, abrupt and flapping like a turkey who has just seen Bernard Matthews. The Abbey is THE best for quality, quantity, service, atmosphere and price. £8.00 for a relaxing tasty breakfast and you get black pudding, £12.00 in the greasy spoon The Wee Cafe. thank you for your response. I will clarify a) I didn't mention black pudding in the cafe at all b)My wife received a recommendation from our hotel The Salisbury Hotel and wanted to try it. We are through here annually for the swim meet and due to her start times, never had time for breakfast. That's why we were unfortunate to darken your doors. c) I've no doubt it's a successful and generally well received business but this was our experience and should be given the same good grace as your positive reviews Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Alas we rarely get bad reviews maybe once a year or two . Your review begs the question: why didn’t you go the The Abbey ? I’m off today , I just called the cafe and my staff said it was because I don’t do black pudding, wow !! we are a very small cafe , we can’t stock very much and you go on a rant because of black pudding ?
